North Richland Hills Dojo - Adult and Kids Classes

A dojo is the school, the physical building in which instruction takes place.  The North Richland Hills (NRH) dojo is housed within the North Richland Hills Recreation Center at 6720 NE Loop 820  (SEC of Rufe Snow and Loop 820), North Richland Hills, Texas 76180.

You can go here for a map and driving directions.  This is a new, North Richland Hills Recreation Center and offers superb facilities, and a great training area.

The instructor at NRH is sensei Shane Whitehead. 

The NRH location offers karate classes for both adults and children.  Whether you start studying martial arts as a child, or as an adult, we can offer superb training for you. Our curriculum is based on expert training with Black-Belt instructors. This individualized attention can help you focus on areas and truly develop your skills. Besides the practical self-defense skills we teach, our system teaches respect, instills confidence through hard-work and self-discipline, and can help develop virtues of character that apply throughout your life, not just in the dojo.

The NRH location offers our "3-Steps to a Great Kid ^sm" program.  This is a character development program structured around a traditional martial arts curriculum, and was developed by Dr. Nick Chamberlain in conjunction with top educators.  The program is designed to fill a void often left in a child's education between their school, traditional sports and the home environment.  Go here for more information.

You can mix and match classes during the week, for example you or your child could train at NRH on Saturdays and then take weekday classes at one of our other locations during the week.
