Biography - Brenda Yturralde

Sensei Brenda Yturralde was one of the first students to train under Dr. Chamberlain when he arrived in Dallas, Texas.  Sensei Brenda began training in 1993 and has continued ever since.  She runs the office at the headquarters dojo at Bachman Lake and teaches some of the classes there.  Brenda especially enjoys teaching the Women's Self Defense classes.  Call her at the dojo with any questions on Saturdays from 10am - 12pm at: 214-351-5367.

Sensei Brenda helped with construction of the Hombu dojo (headquarters school) and is seen here staining the shoji screens that run down the dojo wall.  In addition, all of her 4 children have trained at some time over the years and are a force to be reckoned with!

Her dog (Dojo) visits the school with her on occasion, and has been taught how to bow onto the mat or at least look for treats!
