Karate Summer Camps for Kids - 2008, Coed
Dr. Nick Chamberlain and his team of expert instructors
will lead students through a fun-packed program of Karate, martial arts, and
self-defense. We provide a fun and exciting camp that will safely
introduce students to the Martial Arts, and also polish and expand the
skills of those with previous experience. The camp features the
acclaimed 3-Steps to a Great Kid™
martial arts character development program. Activities cover all the
important areas of Karate, including:

Kicking, striking and blocking drills,
-
Self defense techniques with a partner, sparring and
forms,
-
Wrestling/ground work and Brazilian jiu-jitsu,
-
History of the Martial Arts, personal safety tips,
-
3-Steps to a Great Kid™ tasks and discussion,
-
Board breaking, karate weapons (wooden sword &
staff),
-
Swimming safety, (across the road at the new City of
Dallas pool),
-
When it is appropriate to use these new skills, and
much, much more!
If your son or daughter has wanted to try Karate and
the Martial Arts, then this is the perfect opportunity for them to train
safely with high-ranking, experienced instructors. Optional karate uniform and belt
available from the instructor for $25. Certificates of completion will be awarded on
the last day of the camp. There is a 15 minute demonstration for the
parents at the end of the last day of camp.

We have two kinds of summer camps
this year!

Three all-day Karate camps offered
at our HQ school at Bachman Lake in 2008.
Our
premier camp features an exciting weeklong, all-day karate camp from 9am - 3pm
located at our headquarters dojo. The camp is being held three times this year
and can be taken individually or all together!
The camps are offered during the weeks of: June 21-25,
July 23-27, and August 4-8

In addition,
we are pleased to be able to offer a
CrossFight™
Kids camp. This camp is run by Canadian
Olympic boxer Martin Mezzera, one of the founders of
CrossFight™.
The camp runs a half day from 9am-12pm and is being held the
week of July 28th-August 1st. Call for more details on this unique and
exciting camp.

Schools.
Kid's Karate Summer Camps are offered in partnership with many of
the top private schools in the Dallas area. You may choose a
Camp by week or location, call us for more information. The cost of the camps
range from $150-$210 for the
week, depending on the school, early enrollment discounts, and the times
etc. Call the individual schools to get exact pricing and
enrollment details. Camps are offered every week at different
locations in the Metroplex. Call to see if your school offers our 3
