Karate Summer Camps for Kids - 2010, Coed
We have two kinds of summer camps
for your kids this year!

Five
all-day weeklong Karate camps offered at our Flagship HQ school at Bachman
Lake.
Our premier camp features an exciting weeklong, all-day karate
camp from 9am - 3pm located at our headquarters dojo. The camp
features our traditional curriculum plus exciting weapons kata (sword and
staff) and training usually reserved for the adult classes! The camp
is being held five times this year and can be taken individually or in
sequence!
Each camp is designed to cover the material needed by your child for
advancement to their next rank in Kenpo Karate.
Regardless of whether your child is just starting out, or has been
training for years, the team of instructors led by our head instructor
Rollend Nery, will take your child through everything they need to be
promoted to their next belt! This is a good opportunity for them to
catch up or to get ahead in their training! If your child takes more
than one camp then they will advance more than one belt! This camp
includes two sessions of swimming safety held across the road at the new City of
Dallas indoor pool.
If your child has been frustrated in their training by other after school
activities or homework, then this is a great opportunity for some serious
immersion training and a chance to really learn their material and get a
handle on it. There are discounts for additional family members and
additional camps.
The all day camps are offered during the weeks of:
June 1-4, June 14-18, July 5-9, July 19-23, and August 2-6.

Half-day Karate camps in conjunction
with local Associate Schools.
Kid's Karate Summer Camps are offered in partnership with many of
the top private schools in the Dallas area. You may choose a
Camp by week or location, call us for more information. The cost of
the camps range from $150-$225 for the week, depending on the school, early
enrollment discounts, and the times etc. Call the individual schools
to get exact pricing and enrollment details, the contact numbers are on the
summer camp schedule. Camps are offered every week at different
locations in the Metroplex. Call to see if your school offers our 3

Dr. Nick Chamberlain and his team of expert instructors
will lead students through a fun-packed program of Karate, martial arts, and
self-defense. We provide a fun and exciting camp that will safely
introduce students to the Martial Arts, and also polish and expand the
skills of those with previous experience. The camp features the
acclaimed 3-Steps to a Great Kid™
martial arts character development program. Activities cover all the
important areas of Karate, including:

Kicking, striking and blocking drills,
-
Self defense techniques with a partner, sparring and
forms,
-
Wrestling/ground work and Brazilian jiu-jitsu,
-
History of the Martial Arts, personal safety tips,
-
3-Steps to a Great Kid™ tasks and discussion,
-
Board breaking, karate weapons (wooden sword &
staff),
-
When it is appropriate to use these new skills, and
much, much more!
If your son or daughter has wanted to try Karate and
the Martial Arts, then this is the perfect opportunity for them to train
safely with high-ranking, experienced instructors. Optional karate uniform and belt
available from the instructor for $25. Certificates of completion will be awarded on
the last day of the camp. There is a 15 minute demonstration for the
parents at the end of the last day of camp.
